To celebrate Guid Nychburris in its 80^th year we would like to showcase the best Dumfries has to offer in entertainments from singers and bands to dancers, magicians, novelty acts- basically anything that could be classed as entertainment!

For the last few years adult singers have had the opportunity to compete to perform on the Guid Nychburris Stage on the Saturday afternoon for the Grand Finale, BUT this year we would like to welcome the young and slightly more mature to come and compete for this opportunity for this special year!

On the run up to Guid Nychburris week we would like to hold junior and senior heats in May/June to narrow 0down the amount of people who will be welcomed onto the stage for the Grand Finale.

Heats will be as follows

Saturday 12^th May for under 14's and Family Groups at Locharbriggs Community Centre from 10am

24^th May and 31st May for Adults in the Granary from 19:30 on both nights

2^nd June for those aged between 14-18 approx, Family and mixed aged groups also welcome

 We welcome all acts of various sizes (individuals or groups) and from any discipline.

Loreburn Centre are our fantastic Sponsors this year and the phenomenal prize fund will be revealed in March!   This is a great way to raise money for your school, activity group, charity or for you and your family!

The act should be no more than 5-6 minutes long and you must bring your own equipment.

Entries MUST be placed by the end of April and must live in a DG postcode.

Please complete the entry form as best as you can so we can allocate your act a space at the most suitable venue and time for you.
