Rideouts 2008
Mid week ride-outs leave at 7pm prompt, riders should be at the start point ready for leaving for 6.45pm.
Sunday ride-outs leave at 2pm prompt, riders should be ready for 1.45pm.
Riders take part in the ride-outs at their own risk and should have adequate insurance cover, the Cornets Club, Guid Nychburris Festival Association and the land owners accept no responsibility for injury, loss or damage.
Instructions from the Director of Riding and Stewards MUST be followed at all times.
No horse/pony to be accompanied by a person on a bicycle.
Several ride-outs, especially Sunday rides, contain canters and gallops. It is expected that riders should be sufficiently experienced to control their horse/pony, keep with the pace of the ride and at no time cause any danger to themselves, spectators or any other horse or rider. If such a situation should arise, the rider may be asked to leave the ride at the first convenient safe point.
Riders are expected to ensure that their horses/ponies shoes and tack are of a suitable standard.
Hard hats must be worn at all times.
Riders are asked to refrain from using hip flasks and from smoking in built up areas.
Riders must respect safety codes and refrain from smoking in forest areas.
Riders are asked to ride in twos at all times.
Guid Nyburris Day
The stop at the Mount Sydney will be no longer than 15 minutes.
The Irish Street entrance to Bank Street will be closed off to allow lead rein riders to join in at the end of the main cavalcade from the Whitesands.
Please conduct yourself and your horse/pony in a safe and sensible manner at all times.
If you have any questions or are in need of help or assistance please contact myself, or any steward and we will do our best to help.
Most importantly I hope you enjoy Guid Nyburris 2007 and thank you for your continued support.

Director of Riding
