This popular competition continues in 2010, organised this year by our Vice Chairman, George Bell.

Competitors will again be split into 2 categories:

1. Retail - Shops / Florists / Charity Shops etc.

2. Non Retail - Hairdressers / Offices / Banks etc.

There are places for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Highly Commended entries in each category.

PLUS  

The Overall Winner of the Best Dressed Window will be presented with the Alansound Perpetual Trophy.

The Theme for 2010 is `Dumfries, the Queen of the South`. 

Entry forms will be available soon and the source will be announced here. 

Entries will close on Friday June 4th 2010

All entrants must have their `Window` ready for judging by a panel of three pairs of independent judges, on Thursday June 10th 2010 at 5.00pm. 

The presentation of the prizes and ceryificates will take place on Friday June 11th from 9.00am onward. All shops are asked to leave their window displays in place until Guid Nychburris day, June 19th 2010.
