11.00 AM. The `Kirkin of the Cornet` at St Michaels Church. Parade to the Church Leaves the Municipal Chambers, Buccleuch Street, at 10.30 AM.

12.00 Noon. Guid Nychburris Autotest, organised by the South of Scotland Car Club on Heathhall`s old runway. The competitors vie for the `Guid Nychburris Trophy` while raising money for charity, pitting their high speed precision driving skills against each other over some tricky tests. Quite a spectacle for onlookers!.  

12.00 Noon. `Guid Nychburris Family Picnic`, supported by Nithsdale Area Committee, Scottish Power Renewables, the Army and the David Keswick Centre at the David Keswick Centre, Lockerbie Road, Dumfries, featuring all sorts of FREE family fun including an inflatable army assault course, weapons display, activities tents, soccer arena, bouncy castles for all sizes, a ball pool, West Sound Roadshow, local girl group The MixChix, Face Painting by the Ladies of the Guild of Players, Treasure Hunt by the Odeon Cinema and loads more. STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL. Finishes at 4.00pm.

7.30 PM. Guid Nychburris `Songs of Praise` in Dumfries Academy Hall.  Admission is free but a collection will be taken, to defray expenses and to further the work of the Dumfries Christian Council.
