`Homecoming Idol` Competition.
This event being run for the second year in 2010, organised by Steven Connelly and Craig Bowron, will involve heats to take place in the Granary, Loreburn Street, Dumfries, commencing on May 6th and running for six weeks through to June 10th. The chosen finalists will then go forward to compete in the Quarter, Semi and then the Grand Final, live on stage at the Midsteeple on Guid Nychburris Day. Generously sponsored by The Granary, Loreburn Street, Dumfries, in association with WKD, the first Prize is 300 pounds, 2nd 200 pounds and 3rd 100 pounds. Additional Champagne prizes for contestants.
